Spell Mechanics

Location Cost
When creating healing/damage spells, you choose one base location. Each additional location targeted costs 1 point.

Damage Caused
How many points of damage the spell/ability causes.

Mechanic cost

Mechanic Cost of Mechanic Description
Knock back
1
Knock player back 10ft. May be taken up to 3 times for cumulative distance. Each time counts as an additional mechanic.
Heal
1
Heal 1 point of damage on target location(s).
Repel
2
Player must move and stay 10ft from the caster for 10 seconds cumulative. May be taken up to 3 times for cumulative distance. Each time counts as an additional mechanic.
Disarm
2
Target player drops their weapon.
Single
2
Causes 1 point of damage on target location(s).
Lethal
2
Used with single, double or crush. Damage can’t be regenerated.

Through
3
Used with damage mechanic. Damage goes through armour.
Strike down

Target player drops to the ground.
Mudfeet
3
Target player cannot move their legs for 10 seconds.
Dispel
3
Dispel target named rune, woad or spell.
Full Heal

Heals all damage to target location(s).
Double

Causes 2 points of damage on target location(s).

Used with additional mechanic. All within 10ft are effected.
Crush

Reduces target location(s) to 0. Must be used with double.

To make a spell normally cast upon one's self a range spell, double the casting cost of the spell.

Additional Mechanics
When creating spells/abilities, you choose one base mechanic. You may add additional mechanics to create multiple spell effects. It costs 1 point for each mechanic you add on in this way.
