Campsite Regulations

No pets may be brought onto site. Dogs to assist the blind or care dogs also may not be brought onto site. Animals are unpredictable around combat and we are using part of a working farm with livestock. For these reasons we must enforce this rule.

No one may bring a vehicle onto the camping field without the permission of the organisers. If such permission has been gained in advance then check with the people on site before the vehicle is brought on.

All weapons must be checked by one of our weapon checkers before used. Failed weapons must be taken off site or left in the administration tent, where our staff will label them, and collected at the end of the event. If the weapon is to be repaired on site the weapon may be left at the administration tent and collected from there when it is to be repaired.

No combat may be initiated near tents. If combat 'wanders' towards tents a call of time out should be made and all combatants, keeping their relative positions should move away in an agreed direction and combat resumed on a call of time in. No combat may take place anywhere in the camping areas after dark except where it is being controlled by at least two referees.

Monsters and characters are the only legitimate targets for combat. Cows (four legged things that go 'moo!'), sheep (four legged things that go 'baa!'), the farmers dogs (four legged things that go 'woof!'), the farmers family (mainly two legged things, female and noted by the trail of young men following them) and the farmer are NOT legitimate targets!

All safety rules must be followed. By coming to the event a person has agreed to obey and abide by these rules.

Out of bounds areas include, bar (when closed), administration tent (when closed), organiser's campsite and monster tent except when given permission, any other person's tent (again except with permission) and any closed 'shop.' Needless to say certain fields and the farmhouse area will be out of bounds.

Fire pits for open fires, BBQs etc. will be allowed but when set up the permission of Dave, Ian or Sue must be obtained before it is lit. This is a safety thing! All fires must have a person attending them while alight.

No naked flames in tents except under certain circumstances. Again our permission must be obtained beforehand. Where this is allowed an able person must be present while the flames are alight.

Please report situations like a toilet needing attention, something odd with the drinking water supply, a tent or fire seems unsafe as soon as possible. Where safety is involved try to warn the other people straight away. If the administration tent is closed then tell a referee.

All accidents involving injury must be reported to the organisers.
