Rituals
All rituals require referee assistance. You must
inform a referee beforehand of what you are trying to achieve, and your
results will be based upon manna expenditure, materials used, people
involved, coordination, presentation and execution. higher ranked rituals
may require more than one referee, and require more time to plan.
A player decides how they wish to perform a ritual and can plan it accordingly.
HERB LORE (1-5)
You can recognise herbs of <rank> quality and can extract from
them the ingredients from which rituals are created. You must inform
a ref if you wish to seek out herbs.
The following rituals have (1-X)
ranks
these Rituals last until sunrise or until being used, whichever happens
first.
RITUAL OF DIVINATION (1-3)
Rank 1 = Past events Rank 2 = Current events Rank 3 = future events
You can discern information from an event that has happened, is happening
or may happen in the future. May only meet with limited success.
RITUAL OF SUMMONING (1-4)
You may summon an entity (elemental, spirit,…….,ect.) of
<rank> power. The entity has 1 hit point per location per rank
of summoning and may have additional abilities dependant upon your success.
You may or may not have control over the entity depending on your success.
RITUAL OF COMMUNING (1-4)
You may commune with one person per rank over a short distance. This
lasts until sunrise, although the link may be voluntarily broken at
any time. All people you plan to commune with must be involved in the
ritual. (walkie talkies will be provided to allow communication if the
ritual is successful. They must also be involved in the ritual. They
must also be disguised to conceal the technology.)
The following RITUALS are rank 5
and require rare and unique ingredients. These materials may become
available to you during the course of an event. consult a ref if you
aquire ingredients from which you wish to perform a ritual.
RITUAL OF ACTIVATION (5)
This ritual is used to activate a rune of permanence.
RITUAL OF GREATER SUMMONING (5)
You may summon an entity (elemental, spirit,…….,ect.) of
great power. You may or may not have control over the entity depending
on your success.
