The Starburst is a flying ship. It looks like an old sailing ship with masts, sails and lots of ropes. It has a very odd crew. The captain is Harvy. He knows very little about ships and, if you give him the chance, he will talk and talk and talk! Megrim is the ships engineer. He is hardly ever seen as he spends most of his time below decks looking after the star metal that makes the ship fly. He is quite mad in a funny sort of way and makes potions that are sometimes helpful. Gerarde (said like Gerard with an 'eh' noise on the end) is the ships translator. He is not very good at a lot of things and this includes translating! Bat Elf is the only one who really knows what she is doing but, unfortunately, none of the crew listen to her! There are a lot of others but as they are busy trying to deal with invisible ninja bunnies we wont talk about them for a while!

In the game you can race your friends to be first up into the crows nest. That is at the top of the tallest mast. If you are lucky the crows will be out when you arrive! To play you will need someone to download and then print out the board. They can download the board by clicking on the picture of it. You will also need different cloured counters or buttons, one for yourself and one for each friend. Last you will need an ordinary six sided dice. The game is played pretty much like snakes and ladders except you climb up zippy ropes and slide down slippery ones! You can also get helped or held up on the way. All sit around the board and decide who is going to go first. Once a person has had their turn, the person on their right gets a turn and so on until one of you reaches the crows nest. There is one special rule that you must remember: Only one person can be on a square at any time so if you roll and would end up on the same square as another player, you both roll a dice and the one who rolls highest goes on one square and the one who rolls lowest goes back one. You must always follow the instructions on the square you end up on.
