Red Ruth is a small market town. The soil around the town is so red that it is used to dye cloth. It has been found that carrots grow remarkably well here. A local saying is that at night a person from Red Ruth will see you long before you see them. A temple has been built upon a circular plynth of stone slabs so old that no one knows who laid them. On one of the stones are a series of runes that eminate power. The head priest Cilus Mae has spent almost his whole life studying them.
