The people who live here say that there is no where like Tor Key. They are right. A unique quirk of nature gives this town a warm climate. Palms are planted here. grapes and citrus fruits are grown. Care has been taken to space out the houses and where people are not growing fruit and veges, they culture flowers and herbs. There is a busy spice trade with the continent and foreign wines and foods are imported. To the west of the town are Polduu fishing huts and the market there boasts four large ice houses where fish is kept fresh. The sandy beaches, warm climate, interesting trees and different foods make this a very pleasant place to stay and many of the wealthier people choose to spend some time here when they can. |
