Tiv Ton is a pleasant town nestling in a valley. Surrounded by woodland and farms with the moors a little to the north. Produce is not a problem for this town as any visitor to its bustling market will agree. The town has two forts. The northern fort is manned by King Flints regulars and the south fort is now an administration centre for the law master's forces and for the rangers.

The high beacon is in fact a temple dedicated to air and sky and the great spirits that live therein. A huge pillar towers into the sky. Next to the pillar an arrangement of stones provides both seating and shelter from the wind.

The town itself is a market town built upon the ruins of a Roman settlement. Many of the builtings are part brick and have tiled roofs. There are shops on the ground floor of almost every building. Currently a library and museum are being built next to the Tiv Tun Tavern.
