Tavis Stock is a stockaded Town. The Romanovs have built a stone fort and replaced the wooden towers with stone ones. The town itself is a hive of shops and small industries. The place stinks! Cattle are slaughtered and their meat salted. The bones are rendered down for the making of glue. Varnish is also made here, beer is brewed and bread is baked, all on a fairly large scale. Natural dies are made and potted and lime is stored. All of this makes for a wide variety of smells, most of which are not pleasant. Add to this the natural waste of a large population and the cattle markets and you can see why folk do not stay here long except to work.

On the plus side there is pleanty of work here and the town is supported by many farms. Once a small border town it has become one of the most industrious towns in Greater Cornovii.
