OK Ham is a main town along the main route from Credit Ton to West Cornovii. It is one of the first towns, probably in the whole of Avalon, to have a bypass to take through traffic away from the town centre. Hei Tunner, owner of the Comfort Inn (5), objected strongly to this but finally agreed when given land at the west of the town where the old road meets the new and funding to build a new tavern there. It should be noted that he was given this funding some few years ago and nothing has yet been built.

The town is both a market town and an adminastrative centre for the region. The only remains from Roman times is the row of brick houses (4) and the rather splendid Bath House. Quarries along the Lorn Ton road (known locally as the Forlorn Way) provide good stone for pavings and buildings as well as interesting yellow quartz. Many of the other principle buildings are made of this local stone as are the Barracks. All of the main roads on the town are cobbled with paved areas in squares and all have a pavement on both sides. Most of the side streets are also cobbled but have a paved strip along the centre.

Current rumour has it that the General will be awarded protectorship of the town. Albert Worthyman, the current Governor tries to deny these rumours but looks a worried man. High Priest Fubert Cleiter leads the community of the Spirits and tends to look happier the more Albert looks worried.
