East Dumnonnii East Dumnonnii has the rest of Flints Lands to the West, Willisland to the East, Dawsland to the South and the Dragon Lands to the North East Dumnonnii provides the largest crops of apples and some of the finest apple blossom honey that can be found. The southern parts also produces fine leeks and celery as well as peas and beans. Weat and corn are grown more in the northern part and cattle, sheep and goats are kept here in some quantity. Marsh areas provide pleanty wild fowl and fish as well as willow, bullrushes and reeds. The main road runs from Torn Ton, Through Bridge Water, Ched Dar and around Bath where it splits into three going East, North and West. Bath was the capitol town but is currently independant. Bath has a natural spa and is a pleasant open place. Bries Toll is a busy port with a toll bridge. Brie's Toll Is another independant town that is a busy port and has a toll bridge. Another independant town is Glas Tor (also known as Glass Tow'r with the crystal tower and the Ladies' College. Yeo's Villa is a town built by the Romans and has a completely different layout and general building type than Avalon is used to. Two provinces here are of note. Along the north coast is part of Elf Water province. This is totally independant of East Dumnonnii. Summer Province is in the North across the Avon. Part of the South coast here is part of the Elf Water Province and the rest is managed by General Cnut. Around the mouth of the Avon is an area settled by Vikings and called Avon. Though Viking it is part of East Dumnonnii and along with the Summer Province is not Independant. Of the independant towns, Bath and Brie's Tol, their independence is simply because they have been ignored as the rest of the county was 'assumed' by King Flint. The two towns were at loggerheads over the leadership of the Summer Lands. Rather than lay siege to them Flint has just taken the areas all around, barracked forces nearbye and is ensuring they are closely watched. He has yet to start diplomatic relations with them. |
